Chechen translation

We need a translator into Chechen (noxçiyn mott): we are preparing a Chechen version of the site, and it cannot be done without a native speaker. If you speak Chechen, or know someone willing to help with the translation, please write to us at contact@decolonial.ist.

Books and sources

To develop the domain on the colonization of the Nokhchi (Chechens), we need scholarly publications that are hard to obtain. We are currently looking for:

Expert review

We need a professional historian – a specialist in Ukrainian history and Russian colonial policy – to review the Ukrainian domain: fact-checking, wording, and completeness of coverage. Later on, the same kind of review will be needed for the domain on the colonization of the Nokhchi (Chechens), which is currently under development.

Our plans include documenting the history of the colonization of other peoples that have suffered from Russian aggression, and we are looking for historians willing to join this work. If you are a historian, or can put us in touch with one, please write to us at contact@decolonial.ist.
