Stalinist Terror and the End of Ukrainization (1922–1939)
Suppression of the national revival in the USSR. The campaign included the closure of educational societies in places of compact residence of Ukrainians outside the Ukrainian SSR, the physical extermination of the national intelligentsia and writers, and the forced imposition of the Russian language in all schools of the republic[1].
